What we do
Care, rehabilitation and company, under one roof — and for as long as it takes.
This is everything we do, every day of the year, and the one thing we are still building towards.
- 150+
- families served
- 17
- people in paid work
- 10
- mothers living with us
-
Residential care and shelter
A home, not a ward. Meals, routine, safety and company, every day of the year.
-
Food and daily needs
Three meals a day, clothing, and everything else a person needs to live, for everyone in our care.
-
Therapy and rehabilitation
Behavioural therapy for people with autism and behavioural challenges, and psychotherapy for residents and for their families where that helps. Planned around the person rather than the diagnosis.
-
Medical treatment and medicines
Treatment, medicines, and prescriptions tracked, dispensed and reviewed, so that nothing is missed.
-
Vocational training
Real skills and real work. Seventeen people currently earn through us.
-
Social reintegration
Where going home is possible, we prepare both sides for it carefully, and slowly.
-
Palliative and end-of-life care
Comfort, pain relief and company, so that nobody reaches the end alone. Four people have died in our care, with dignity.
-
What we are working towards
A permanent centre, in time
At least three acres of land and the buildings to go on it, so that this work does not depend on a rented roof.
Help us build it
Know someone who needs care?
Tell us a little about them, and we will talk it through with you.
